Do you have a young entrepreneur at home, bursting with ideas? The Brevard Children's Business Fair on November 15th, 2025, at the Avenue Viera is the perfect place for kids aged 6 to 17 to launch their very own businesses!
We're so excited about this year's fair, and we want to make the registration process as smooth as possible for you. Here's a heads-up on how it works:
Get First Access: Become a Newsletter Subscriber!
Wondering how you can have your child participate in the Brevard Children's Business Fair? *Newsletter subscribers get the very first chance to register on June 23 at 7am! To get this early access, simply visit our website at www.brevardcbf.org and subscribe to our newsletter today.
After our subscribers have had their opportunity, if any spots are left over, they will be released to the general public via social media, etc.
Get a Head Start: Prepare Your Answers Now!
To streamline the application process, we recommend that you help your children prepare their answers to the following questions in advance. They can then copy and paste their responses when registration opens.
What is the name of the business?
What are the ages and names of the participants?
What is the category of your business? (Approximately 12 businesses per category)
What product or service do you plan to sell?
What price will you charge for each product/service? How much will each product/service cost you?
How will you pay for your startup costs? If someone is helping, how will you pay them back?
How will you advertise/market your business before the fair?
How will you determine if your business was a success?
Categories of Business
This year features business categories for a diverse marketplace:
Home Decor
Bakery / Confectionery
Beverage
Jewelry
Art
Toys and Games
Flowers / Plants / Trees
Gourmet Pet Foods & Treats
Specialty Foods
Clothing and Accessories
There will be approximately 12 businesses per category, so don’t delay when registration opens.
Think About Your Customers!
As your child plans their business, it's important to think about who will be buying their products or services. While appealing to other kids is great, remember that adults will likely be the ones making the purchases. Encourage your child to consider what adults might like and be willing to buy!
What Happens After You Apply?
Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the BCBF Team. Upon approval, you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your participation within 24 hours by completing and making payment for the $35 non-refundable participation fee. Once payment is made, you and your child will have access to a private Facebook group where we share community business opportunities, events, etc, only for BCBF participants.
In the event that the offered position is not paid for, the spot will be offered to the next business waiting in line.
Our events sell out, so do not delay! Head over to www.brevardcbf.org to subscribe to our newsletter and be ready when registration opens!
*To ensure you're part of this early access, you must be subscribed to our newsletter by June 22, 2025, at 9 PM EST. Visit www.brevardcbf.org to subscribe.
